Feds issue fresh indictments: Seven more people have been indicted on offenses related to a methamphetamine and heroin trafficking case in Montrose County that previously saw 13 indicted.
Of the seven new defendants identified by the U.S. Attorney's Office in a Saturday news release, four are from Montrose: Rafael Jaramillo-Hernandez, Margarita Cruz-Gomez, Carlos Quijana-Ruiz and Carlos Beltran-Gonzalez.

'S' or no 'S': For years I always dreaded Daylight Saving Time in the spring because that meant I would lose an hour of sleep. But it wasn't until I enrolled in a news writing course during undergrad that I learned I had been saying and spelling DST wrong.
There is no 's' in savings, even though many people, myself included, say it that way. We even put an 's' in our write up earlier this week about DST.
Maybe this conversation will be one for the history books though as research and political push continues to end Spring Forward. What do you think about the time change? Would you be in favor of doing away with it? Let us know by emailing editor@montrosepress.com.
Don't forget to set your clocks forward an hour Sunday, so you're not late Monday.
