Vaccines for all adults by mid-April? Gov. Jared Polis announced on Friday that all adults in Colorado will likely be eligible to receive vaccinations by the middle of April.

"Right now we have the problem of demand exceeding supply," Polis said at a news conference. "That will change soon."

The state is moving into the next phase of vaccinations this Friday, which includes all individuals 50 and over, restaurant workers and other essential workers such as frontline journalists and faith leaders. To see the full list of people eligible, click here.

As of Saturday, over one-third of people in Montrose County have received at least one dose of the vaccine and nearly 16,000 doses have been administered so far.

Blizzard slams Front Range: While Montrose didn't catch much snow, multiple feet of wet spring snow fell along the Front Range this weekend. The storm was Denver's 4th-largest on the record dating back 140 years.

Denver International Airport, the country's 5th-busiest airport, has shut down all runways since Sunday afternoon—over 2,000 flights have been cancelled. Both interstate highways were also closed and many segments remain closed. Many area school districts granted students a full snow day today free of remote learning.

March Madness starting again this week: After abruptly shutting down last spring because of the COVID-19 pandemic before a winner was determined, the college sports event of the year is scheduled to begin on Thursday.

The University of Colorado's team is seeded at No. 5 and will play Georgetown on Sunday. The CSU Rams did not make the cut of 68 teams but is on standby.
