Starting this Friday, all Coloradans can get vaccinated

Vaccine eligibility expanding in CO this Friday: Gov. Jared Polis announced today that all Coloradans 16 and older will be eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccinations starting on Friday, weeks ahead of the expected timeline.

Colorado is joining at least a dozen other states that have recently expanded vaccination eligibility to adults 16 and over.

Also, a vaccine clinic for all individuals in phase 1 is scheduled for Thursday, April 1 at Friendship Hall in Montrose. Some time slots have already been filled up, so sign up here before it's too late!

Furniture Connection closing soon: Longtime local businessman Ed DeJulio will be closing The Furniture Connection after about 20 years for a simple reason: "When people ask, I have two words: It's time," he said.

"It's been good. I'm calling this a store closing and retirement because I'm an old guy. I'm 86," DeJulio said earlier.

The Furniture Connection will be liquidating all of its current inventory and closing near the end of May. The building on South Townsend Avenue, which DeJulio purchased in 2001, will be sold to a new owner.

Cargo ship in Suez Canal freed: The Ever stuck in the middle of the Suez Canal in Egypt has been dislodged from the sides of the canal and is now continuing on its journey.

Cartographer Garrett Dash Nelson shared a tool on Twitter to see exactly how big the Ever Given is in other areas of the world. Here's how much space the ship would take up if it were near the Water Sports Park at Riverbottom:
