10 killed at King Soopers in Boulder: An armed man, now identified as a 21-year-old man from Arvada, killed 10 people on Monday afternoon with an AR-15 purchased six days before the incident. Boulder's police chief announced this morning that he has been charged with 10 counts of first-degree murder.

The names of all of the victims, who range in age from 20 to 65, were announced today. The first to be identified yesterday evening was 51-year-old Boulder police officer Eric Talley, who was the first responder at the scene. Talley will be remembered by his family, friends and 7 children.

This shooting comes 6 days after the deadly string of shootings in the Atlanta area, where 8 people, mostly women of Asian descent, were killed at three different locations. During the pandemic, the amount of mass shootings in the US dropped significantly.

$3 trillion plan for infrastructure announced: The Biden Administration announced plans yesterday for a multi-trillion dollar plan to fix the country's crumbling infrastructure.

The measure will be payed for by tax hikes on corporations and wealthy individuals who make more than $400,000 annually.

Improving the country's aging infrastructure is widely popular among most segments of the public. Former President Trump campaigned on investing big money in infrastructure, but his promises never materialized. The jury is still out on how much Republican support Biden will be able to muster.
