Montrose team in state championships: For the first time since 1951, the Montrose High School Indians boys basketball team is competing for the 4A state title. The team has been undefeated this season.

"I'm still in shock — I told the guys in the locker room, 'this is a compliment to your guys' work ethic, putting up with me yelling and screaming at you for the last four months. You guys have bought into that culture and what needs to be done,'" Montrose coach Ryan Voehringer said postgame. "They've earned it."

The championship match will be played this Sunday against the No. 5 team, the Mead Mavericks (14-3). To view a bracket of the postseason with stats from every game, click here. The game will be live-streamed on nfhsnetwork.com with a $10.99/month subscription.

Country meeting 100 million vaccine goal today: President Biden announced that the US will achieve his goal of distributing 100 million doses of COVID vaccines 42 days earlier than he originally strived for.

One of Biden's main goals at the onset of his term was distributing 100 million doses within the first 100 days of his administration. We're on day 58. He said that he will announce a new goal next week.

Colorado is expanding to phase 1B.4 of vaccine distribution today, which includes:
  • People 50 and older
  • Most educators and school workers (preK-12 and college)
  • High contact food/restaurant workers
  • USPS employees
  • Public transportation workers
  • Some local and state gov't workers
  • 16-49 year olds with at least 1 health condition

The headline on the last newsletter you just received said 'Missing Montrose Teen.' We pulled that brief from the newsletter at the last second because, thankfully, she was found safe. We just accidentally left the old headline in there. Read the latest here on that story, and stay with us in the coming days for more details.

Tom Cruise's Telluride mansion listed for $39.5 million: The actor's 320-acre, 11,500 square foot mansion has been listed on the market for nearly $40 million dollars earlier this week.

The home features 7 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, a billiards room, library and fitness center. A 3-bedroom guesthouse is also on the property.

This isn't the first time that Cruise has tried to sell this property: in 2014, the property was privately listed for $59 million. Without any prospective buyers, it was taken off the market two years later.
