CORE Act comeback: The time has come to bring the Colorado Outdoor Recreation and Economy Act across the finish line, said backers, who also said the recently reintroduced measure dovetails with recent presidential action on climate change.

"Hopefully, this time is the time that we finally get it done," Colorado State Director for the Wilderness Society Jim Ramey said.

Super Bowl:
The Weeknd is finally here ... I mean the Super Bowl. For anyone unaware, the Weeknd is this year's halftime headline and I'm personally excited about it.
Read this rundown on the Super Bowl and how you can watch the big game.
Besides enjoying the football game against the Kansas City Chiefs (Go Chiefs!) and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, people tune in to the game for the halftime performance and, of course, the commercials. If you can't wait until Sunday, don't worry. Here are some leaked commercials.
Since a person can only listen to so many hours of commentary about game play and score predictions, I get pumped up for the Super Bowl with some furry companions - The Puppy Bowl. Who's team are you on? Team Ruff or Team Fluff?

Asbestos at school: When Montrose County School District announced earlier this week that after a routine inspection, possible asbestos debris was found at Olathe Middle and High School and Centennial Middle School, the community voiced frustration on social media.
Questions like "Why now?" and "What happened to the yurts?" appeared in the comments on the district's Facebook page.
Seeing the frustrating amid an already challenging learning environment during COVID-19, we looked into it and found out the discovery of asbestos came about as part of abatement evaluations required within the BEST grant application.
