Career night from Ashden Oberg helps Montrose remain undefeated

Stolen antique: Weddings, picnics, photos and memories — for the Henderson family, the classic 1949 GMC pickup means all those things. It's been with the family since Steve Henderson's stepfather brought it home decades ago. But on Feb. 8, when Henderson had occasion to visit where the classic ride was stored in Olathe, what he did not see made his heart drop. The brown and tan truck, with its antique, 1949 plates, was gone. As an antique car lover myself, reading this story is heartbreaking. While some people may look at a vehicle and just see a fiberglass or steel body on wheels, the memories connected to a car are priceless. Regardless of how much the vehicle is worth, those family trips to get ice cream or cruise town, it's about creating lifelong memories. So let's all work together to help the Henderson family continue to make memories by returning the classic pickup. Good dog: Deputies responding Wednesday to a vehicle left running in the middle of the road near Austin found an unconscious driver, and, with the help of the department K-9 and handler, alleged drugs and a firearm. Jonathan Rule, 31, was arrested on suspicion of heroin possession and distribution of heroin and methamphetamine, Delta County Sheriff Mark Taylor said.
