A Montrose physician was charged with drug offenses
Dr. David Dreitlein was issued a summons earlier this month. It charges three unlawful acts related to controlled substances. Each count in the complaint alleges that he dispensed Adderall unlawfully in November of 2018.

Search teams located bodies of three people taken by an avalanche on Monday
Search teams have located the bodies of three people who were buried under about 20 feet of snow and debris from a Monday avalanche. The avalanche swept down as they skied the backcountry between Silverton and Ouray. | | | |
