ORDER RESCINDED: The U.S. Department of the Interior has revoked a previous secretarial order it now says imposed unfair conditions on the implementation of Land and Water Conservation Fund.
The LWCF became part of the much-hailed bipartisan Great American Outdoors Act last year. The act permanently funded the LWCF as well as earmarked money for addressing maintenance backlog on federal public lands like the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park.

Smaller cheering section: Lloyd McMillan Gym during the winter sports season in 2021 isn't like years past. Gone are the dozens of community supporters from the stands, the rowdy student section, opposing fans, and the cheer, dance and band teams.
With a limited capacity of 50 the past few weeks, and only a handful of hometown fans (parents and family members of the players), it's the reality of what it's like during the COVID-19 pandemic, with restrictions and guidelines in place to keep all involved safe.

Radios:
Crank up the volume and sing your lungs out to your favorite jams because today is World Radio Day.
World Radio Day was first proposed by Spain in September 2010. With backing from broadcasting associations around the world, it was unanimously accepted by UNESCO Member States in November 2011. The cool thing about radio is it's still relevant and important in our daily lives. During those long drives for vacation or maybe to work, radio is still with us, keeping us singing and keeping us informed.
