WE WILL ASK ONE MORE TIME, then we'll leave you alone. If you haven't already, please take our short eight-question survey to help us improve this newsletter. It takes less than 3 minutes to fill out. CASES OF COVID-19 are spiking in some states like Texas and Florida, but Colorado is still on the downward trend. In Montrose, you can find out pretty easily whether you had the virus or carry the antibodies that prevent you from getting it. Through the end of this week, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., you can go to the Montrose County Event Center and get an antibody test for $75. No ID required. Above is a picture of the process. Pretty simple. They just draw some blood and send it off for testing. IF YOU LIKE SPORTS, the English Premier League for soccer kicked off again yesterday with players taking the field in the middle of empty stadiums. Meanwhile, there's been some question as to whether Major League Baseball will even have a season, although reports indicated Wednesday that players and owners were coming closer to an agreement to get a 2020 season underway. If an agreement is reached by this weekend, we could see baseball beginning in late July. In the NFL, some are predicting it would be the most-watched season of football ever if owners were to figure out how to get players on the field. That's because of the coronavirus and the Black Lives Matter movement, which saw former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick kneel in 2016 during the National Anthem. Players are vowing to kneel this season in solidarity. And President Donald Trump has vowed now to watch if that happens. CHECK OUT OUR INTERACTIVE CLASSIFIEDS. For real, they're pretty good. This week, we have a listing for a really nice 1955 Chevrolet pickup. | |
