ANOTHER VARIANCE? Montrose County commissioners' unanimous vote Thursday to seek an expanded COVID-19 variance did not come without strong words for Gov. Jared Polis, who was seen as allowing protests while continuing to restrict other activity. REMOVING BARRIERS is the purpose of Gov. Polis' executive order to suspend certain statutes so restaurants can serve alcoholic beverages in temporary outdoor spaces.
