Good evening friends, Word just came in from CDOT that the U.S. 50 bridge west of Gunnison is closed indefinitely due to cracking. US 50 bridge crossing the Blue Mesa Reservoir near Dillon Pinnacles that is now closed. The closure is in place between US 50 Mile Point 131 (intersection with Colorado Highway 92) and MP 138. Local traffic is allowed through the closure point to reach residences. Motorists should use COtrip to plan an alternate route, but so far, CDOT suggests detouring via Interstate 70 to the north or US 160 to the south. Now onto some local happenings! The City is holding its annual landfill free disposal day this Saturday from 8-4 p.m. at 67999 Landfill Rd.
